Hi! I'm Kate.
I have been providing high-quality, fun, interactive and engaging maths tuition from my home in Chichester for over thirty years.
My expertise in private one-on-one maths tutoring means my students achieve results way beyond what they or their schoolteachers may have expected.
I have a degree in Mathematical Sciences, a PGCert in Education, and I hold Qualified Teacher Status. I have taught adults and students aged 5-18 in secondary, primary and independent schools, including GCSE, A-Level and specialist maths exams, and I am up-to-date with the current variety of syllabuses and approaches to learning. I am a compassionate, supportive and effective maths tutor.

How it works
Contact me to discuss what you need. Then we'll meet for our first session at my home on Kingsham Road in Chichester.
Sessions cost £45 for 45 minutes.
Between lessons, I am available to communicate with students and parents. I can keep you updated with where your child is at, what we've been working on, and what they're struggling with. I set tailored self-study tasks for students to complete at home which consolidates their learning and adds great value to the time they spend with me.
Multi-student discounts available if you would like to attend as a small group of two to three. Fees are payable on the day and I operate on a 24-hour cancellation policy where 50% is due if you cancel within 24 hours.
My style of teaching is not just ingraining information into students’ minds to memorize - it’s about providing them with the tools they need in order to think critically and say "I can!"
